| 1. | Go to the Support / Downloads page for your Predator through HERE and make sure that your Predator has been updated with the latest CROM software revision. |
| 2. | Power up the Predator by connecting it to your vehicle's ODBII port and proceed go into the performance menu.
If your car needs an update, you will be prompted to come to this page(diablosport.com/dcx) to get all the information to update your cars calibration. |
| 3. | Unplug your predator from the car and bring it to your computer |
| 4. | Once your at your computer, Power up your predator by plugging in your 12 volt, 1 amp adapter that you purchased from your DiabloSport dealer.
The predator should power up and display a green lighted screen like it did when you used it in your car. It should be on the main menu with the word 'Predator' on the top. |
| 5a. | For U7777 Users(Serial Port Only), plug the serial cable from the back of our computer to the predator port that is on the bottom of the Predator. |
| 5b. | For U7778 Users(USB), plug the USB cable from the back of our computer to the predator port that is on the bottom of the Predator.
Your computer should detect the serial port and ask for the driver cd. Put the miniature cd in the drive tell the driver program to look on the cd for the driver. It should find the driver and install you USB adapter. |
| 6. | Go HERE to download the latest version of DS Downloader to update your Calibration Information.
Double click the file once it is downloaded and install it |
| 7. | Clickthe tab at the bottom that says "Connection Test".
Then click the "AutoDetect" button at the top and DSDownloader will attempt to detect your serial port/USB adapter that your predator is attached to.
You can also specify the port that your adapter is plugged into if you know this information. |
| 8. | Click the "Test" button to check to see if you installed everything correctally, If you get a failure message, redo steps 1-6.

| 9. | If the software detects that you need a proper update, you will see a new tab at the bottom of the application labeled "Calibration Update".
Click on the bottom labeled "Calibration Update" and look for a button thats says "Calibration Updater".
Click that button. |
| 10. | Once this is done, Unplug your Predator and bring it to your car.
Plug it into your ODBII port and go to the performance menu.
The predator should proceed on updating your car and you can continue to flash the tunes that are build into the predator. |
