Serious 3.6L Pentastar Performance

2015_DCX_V6Our R&D took a 2016 Challenger with a 3.6L Pentastar, and seriously amped it up. We strapped it to the dyno and began calibrating it for power by optimizing the vehicles’ timing and fueling maps. Our tunes made great power across the entire RPM range right off the bat. We then moved on to tweak the car’s throttle response as well as other key parameters that made the car fly with “Power You Can Feel”!

Not only did we re-calibrate the key functions in the ECU, we also provide end-user adjustable options so that you can make changes to the tune right in your own drive way. You can re-calibrate your speedometer for aftermarket gears or tires, raise your rev limiter (so you can get more out of each gear), and even adjust your throttle sensitivity to make it more responsive. If you’re planning on racing at the track, our calibration team put in a parameter that allows you to raise the factory speed limit so that you’re never going to hit it in your quarter mile!

Other options included on our inTune and Trinity performance programmers for the Chevy Trax and Buick Encore include: gear ratio, tire size, fueling, timing, idle RPM, rev limiter, and the speed limiter. Plus the options for custom tuning that can calibrate for more aggressive aftermarket performance modifications. With our tunes and adjustable options at your disposal, you can take full control of your ride like never before!

Get a Spare DiabloSport Modified PCM for tuning

We can provide you all the necessary equipment (PCM and Tuner) that allows you to install a tune on your vehicle. Here is how it works:

Provide us with your car’s VIN and Odometer mileage using this order form and we will send out an aftermarket PCM and any tuning devices you need to tune the vehicle. You will replace the car’s stock PCM with the aftermarket Diablo PCM through a simple process that should only take about twenty minutes. Once you have replaced the factory PCM, you can install a tune with your DiabloSport tuner and you are ready to go! If you need to go to the dealership for service work, re-install your original PCM and the dealer will not be able to tell that you have done any modifications.

Send your PCM to DiabloSport To Unlock it

There is also an option to send your truck’s current PCM into DiabloSport for us to reprogram it for $200. While this option costs less, there are some important things to note about modifying your existing PCM. The first and most important is that sending your factory PCM in for the unlock service could take between 3-5 business days. Additionally, if you unlock your factory PCM and do not have a spare, you may have issues at the dealership if they need to re-flash for any reason. We always advise that you use the option for an additional modified PCM so you have more options. If you’d like to send your PCM in for unlock service, click this link.


Pre-Loaded Performance Programs

The tune selections for the 2015-2016 Chrysler V6 300, Charger, and Challenger depend on the type of gas you want to put in the tank. For best results, we always recommend running the highest-octane gas available, and running the tune associated with that octane rating (ex: 93 octane, 91 octane)

93 Octane Performance Tune 3.6L Pentastar +15 HP | +20 TQ

Our tunes for 93 octane make the maximum amount of additional power available on the Pentastar engine, plus all of our pretuned drivability enhancements.

91 Octane Performance Tune 3.6L Pentastar +13 HP | +15 TQ

The 91 Octane Performance tune “Premium” fuel that is available in some areas of the USA and abroad. It makes slightly less power than the 93 octane tune, but offers all of the same great drivability gains.
