    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use. Easy to use. I used it to turn off AFM and Diablo Tune. I can really tell a positive change in power. Had tune for 4 months and reset to stock for a dealer visit. It worked great and was very easy. The only issues I have with it is a bug with disabling AFM. If you set "YES" to disable it does not. You have to set it to "NO" to disable AFM. And the engine pulsates very slight (25-50 rpm or so) on the highway. When I returned to stock for my dealer visit the engine pulsate stopped. It is noticeable but worth having AFM turned off. As of my last update 4/2018 the AFM bug is not addressed yet. When I reinstall the tune in July I will update I3 and see if the bugs have been fixed.     Rated 5 out of 5 by from platinum i3 and the "Diablo" tune this thing kicks butt. a was happy right away but now it has been a few days and 200 miles later. its doing better now than the day I installed it , the "Diablo tune". .....1st gear to 2nd gear would chirp or Bark the tires ( stock or no tune) first day of install it would fish tail 3-4 times when shifting from 1st to 2nd (big and noticeable difference ) that it has been 150 miles +(since Diablo tune was installed) when it shifts from 1st to 2nd it doesn't even slow down you can hear it shift but just continues to lay down a tire shredding burnout thru 2nd gear , wow!!! pretty peppy!!!! 2002 formula 95000 miles original stock. automatic.....….

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from DiabloSport I3 Platinum GM Bought this about a month ago, and was excited when it came in. Purchased this I3 for a Silverado 1500 with a 5.3 and a 6 speed trans. Seems to be a decent tuner, but will throw System too Rich codes without the use of and aftermarket Cold Air Intake. However, I would not recommend using any of the Transmission tunes. After applying the firm shift tune, I noticed the shifting was considerably worse. Restored the backup to the TCM but that did not solve the issue. Luckily I had access to a GM Tech2 at my Chevrolet Store, and after re-flashing with the factory setting everything was back to normal. I now only use it to tune the ECM and read any codes that might come up.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good tuner. I received the i3 in perfect condition. No problems tuning my truck (2007 Silverado 1500 5.3L). Have tried several of the tunes and have tweaked the parameters to my liking. Main reason I purchased the inTune was to rid myself of the nuisance known as AFM, which was easy enough to do. My only complaint, so far, is that I won't scan my other truck's DTC's. The inTune is supposed to be able to scan any vehicle (even if it's not 'married' to said vehicle) but will not scan my 2004 Silverado 2500 HD 6.6L. It just sticks on the "Please Wait" screen.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Device ! awesome product ! very happy with it. 2015 silverado 5.3L - updated my device and installed the Performance/Diablo Tune, adjusted for 33" tires, turned OFF dod/afm ( 4 cylinder mode ). truck runs and drives wayyyyyyy better now ! i highly recommend this device to anyone and everyone, totally worth the price, would have bought it sooner if i knew if would make the truck drive so much better ! planning on a custom diabLEW tune asap. ( currently have k&n intake and flow master cat back exhaust )

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Capable tool, but lacks user options I bought this thinking I could make several adjustments to the engine and transmission control units. While the unit is capable of this, it requires the use of special software that only "dealers" have access to. For the money, I expected a little more end user control. This, however, seems to be the unfortunate trend in the vehicle tuning market. I was able to turn off the engines active fuel management (displacement on demand), which is worth every penny I spent on the unit so I have no regrets. Physically, it feels cheap and is much smaller than I anticipated. The display quality is sub-par. In the future, I will probably go with an open-source tuning platform. If you're not knowledgeable in the world of engine tuning or just need to make basic changes, this is probably the best way to go. Advanced users should look elsewhere.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing!! I was getting 22mpg with my 2016 Colorado 3.6V6 when I bought it. Not bad in the Oklahoma wind. Then I put a 6” lift and 33” tires on it and it went to 17mpg and power was pathetic. The main reason I got the i3 tuner was diagnostic and speedo calibration. Figured let’s go ahead and download the 87 octane tune with firm trans shift while reprogramming speedo. Only been 3 weeks and up to 20.7 mpg and runs better than did before lift. Throttle response is amazing. Power is back if not better. Larger tires always lug an engine but it runs so much better than stock with factory tires ever did. The firm trans shift is amazing. Factory trans program felt lazy and unresponsive never sure what gear it wanted. I loved my truck before lift and tires. Then I installed lift and tires and thought man did I screw up. This little Chevy ain’t happy now. Now that I’ve installed the tune I love my truck again and it begs to be driven hard. Excellent job Diablosport!

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy it. ‘08 GMC Sierra, 5.3… All stock. I should have done this years ago. I got a mild improvement in horsepower and torque, but the truck is so much more drivable than it was. Most of the delayed throttle response is gone, quicker in town, and so much better on the freeway. I didn’t buy the Diablo to improve gas mileage, I just wanted the truck to perform better, and it does. I was really surprised that my gas mileage improved… Even with my foot really into it, I got another two mpg. Turn of the AFM; it’s horrible. It was doing me absolutely no favors. I was anxious about it, but the install was super simple. About 10 minutes effort to make the truck worth keeping.

    How do I use on Trailblazer SS?

    Its pretty simple, plug it in with the key in the run position, select the tune menu and follow the prompt to select the PCM and TCM tune you want to run. 5 minute later its up 20 HP :)

    I have an 11 Yukon with a Gibson cat back and an air raid intake tube. Will i get more performance out on the bolt ons I have?    is there different setting for shift points or just one preloaded?  Do you sell tunes if I delete afm and run a bigger cam?

    the tune will optimize your bolt ons, but its hard to say it they'll gain more power with the tune. Shift points can be adjusted if desired. AFM can be disabled, but a cam swap will require a custom tune from one of our cmr tuning dealers.

    Does this device have to remain permanently installed in the vehicle for the tuning to work, or is it programming the on board computers in the vehicle with permanent programming?

    Once you’ve got it tuned it will ask you to unplug and drive. So no you don’t have to have it plugged in all the time. Only while you’re tuning it.
