    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great improvement on shifting and exhaust sound I loaded the Diablo 87 tune on my 2014 Dodge Ram 5.7L Hemi (6-speed). I was really just looking for something to disable the MDS so my truck would stop sounding like a beat up 1950's tractor. Joking aside, I am glad I went with the complete tune instead of just disabling that one feature. So far the shifting is night and day better, the MPG went from 14 to 16.5, and my aftermarket exhaust system sounds amazing. I'm not sure why Dodge is so bad at factory programming their own engines but I was considering selling my truck and going with a different make because it was so sluggish and sounded so bad. Now it feels like I've got a brand new truck and it's actually fun to drive again. I would recommend this product (and the 87 tune) to anyone with a dodge truck. Is it expensive? Kind of, but it's an absolute bargain considering how much it improves your drive quality, sound, and MPG.

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from I’d buy it again! Okay so out of the box I had some trouble with my predator. It basically was skipping the first two files on the update, so I ended up having to contact Diablo tech support and imo the guy was not very friendly I never even got his name lol but we did get it sorted out in about a hour or less and I was programming tunes. Now I only give 3 stars because 1. Lack of great customer service, and 2. the economy tune did absolutely nothing for my truck (07 ram 1500 5.7) but it was definitely worth every dollar if your going for power gains, there numbers are accurate I easily got 15-25 probably upwards of 20-25. The only downfall is my truck use to shift at 5400 now it shifts at 6k which I’m assure is hard on the tranny if you have your foot in it a lot. Overall it’s a awesome tuner and made a huge difference in power!

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressed Purchased a 5500# bumper pull travel trailer to tow with my 2012 Dodge Ram 1500, 4.7L. After much research I ordered the Diablo Predator II Platinum Tuner. The product arrived quickly, however intitially it would not work with my ‘12 Dodge Ram. HIGHLY impressed with Diablo’s customer service and tech support! Cannot say enough about how impressed I am with how hard they worked to resolve the issue I was having. End result - Towing: 9.5 mpg pre-tuner, 14.7 after tune and pulls trailer with noticeably more power. Economy Tune: average 18 mpg pre-tune, 24.5 mpg after tune. 91 Octane Tune... What can I say?! Turned my little 4.7 Hemi into a race truck. Night and day difference. Very impressed with the device and more importantly, Diablo’s customer service. User friendly, very noticeable performance and fuel mileage gains. More than worth the investment.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome I just recently bought an 08 Dodge Ram quad cab 4x4. It was everything I was looking for in a new truck. My wife however, wished it was better on gas. I knew that a programmer would be the best choice, and after reading many reviews, testimonials, and personal experiences, Diablo was the best choice. Every part of the process was a breeze. It makes the truck feel like it's brand new. With the pre-loaded tunes it was a bit hard to decide which one to go with. The tow/haul tune helped tremendously when moving a few weeks ago and the 87 tune makes it a lot more lively and fun to drive. The Economy tune is worth it all for the added mpg. The only thing that I can complain about is I wish it was a bit faster to change between tunes. However I still love the Predator Platinum and don't know why I haven't gotten one before. Thanks for an amazing product.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Predator 2 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7hemi I searched for a while to see what was the best for my truck.The Diablo Predator 2 was the best for me excellent for changing from towing to performance I could tell a difference as soon as I started my truck.Throttle response was instant,no Rev limiter,no speed limiter, shifting is a world of difference.I went with Diablosport because of thier reputation for tech support, and besides being the best programmers on the market today.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from total disaster ive had this thing setting in the box on my office floor for about three weeks wsaiting for help from diablo. it arrived with no tunes installed. so i called and took the time did all the pc install and got the tunes. hooked it back up to my truck and installed the tune per the instructions. started my truck and it ran great for about 30 seconds, before it died, and wouldnt turn over, not even any dash lights. with the key on it just sat there fuel pump running and injectors pulsing. so after a total three tries with the same result happening each time i was told that they would reach out to me when an engineer got back to them. so i am calling monday to get a refund. and yes i did change my engine oil afterwards.

    Yes, this can work. You would need a custom tune for that setup though so I'd recommend working with a custom tuner from the start.

    Will this work on a 2016 Ram 2500 4x4 with the 6.4 HEMI?? Will it leave a footprint??

    Unfortunately, that product would not work on a 2016. We do have several options that do and you can see those below. There are always traces when tuning a vehicle, but they are very tough to spot and many dealers will work on vehicles that have been tuned with no issue.
