Since the dawn of time, man has yearned for a pickup truck version of the Jeep Wrangler. Jeep finally answered the call in the 2020 model year by resurrecting the Gladiator nameplate. Available for 2018-2021 Wrangler® and Gladiator running the 3.6L V6, Pulsar is the perfect answer for added performance and feature control without having to install an unlocked PCM.


    This all-new inline module connects directly to your factory computer without removal or swapping your OEM PCM. As you may know, unlocking or swapping out your factory PCM has been required to add performance programming to the 2015+ Jeep®, but that was before Pulsar! Now you have access to pre-calibrated power levels, tire and gear change calibration options and instant throttle response with just the push of a few buttons. No sending in the PCM or downtime. Simply piggyback the all-new redesigned Pulsar onto your factory PCM and drive. Read further to review power levels and features.     What's New with Pulsar?

    Now in our second rendition of the Pulsar in-line module, our engineering team took everything they learned from version one to make version two even better! The all new case was designed to offer better rigidity and durability in extreme off-roading conditions, with a more modern stylish look to boot. Along with the sturdier case, an all new internal PC board offers improved reliability and performance. We’ve updated the technology used within the device, along with improving the construction and assembly of the internal boards for better dependability. Our calibrations teams has also spent time fine tuning the power delivery for the 3.6L making for an incredible driving experience. Better throttle feel, increased low end torque, and improved fuel economy to go with it.

    Jeep Gladiator Mid-2021 PCM Change

    In mid-2021, Chrysler experienced a shortage on PCM’s (GPEC2A) and had to start sourcing an all-new PCM (GPEC5) for the Gladiator to continue rolling them off the assembly line. Due to this mid-year change, we would suggest confirming which PCM your specific vehicle is equipped with before ordering our Pulsar unit, as it may not be compatible. Some Gladiators (build dates starting approximately August of 2021) started using the GPEC5 PCM, used in the 2.0L Turbo application, which uses a completely different layout, connector, and wiring harness. Due to this change, our Pulsar will not fit all 2021 models at this time. Please see our tab below for references on which ECM you need to run our device.
