Materials Manager

Holley, a leader in automotive aftermarket products, has an opening for a Materials Manager.


Manage Holley Corporate Materials area which includes the development, definition, and execution of the Holley Corporate Materials Strategy. Position will set corporate level metrics for service and inventory as well as measure adherence to metrics, policies and procedures. Align area objectives with organization’s strategic plan. Work with management across the entire organization to identify current and future needs and opportunities. Support the organization objectives of safety, service, quality, cost, continuous improvement, and growth.


Key Job Elements (Essential Functions Performed):

1. Set corporate materials management policies and procedures.

2. Coordinate and monitor corporate materials expectations and adherence.

3. Set targets and improvement objectives for areas such as Earned Labor, Productivity, Inventory, Head Count and other controllable cost as deemed necessary.

4. Manage, develop and communicate production level forecast.

5. Review on-time delivery statistics and develop improvements plans.

6. Identify Capacity / Level Loading Issues

7. Forecast vs. Firm order mix for MPS loading

8. Establish, manage and report mission critical KPI (Key Performance Metrics)

9. Ensure proper loading of demands and manage capacity in support of on-time customer deliveries.

10. Ensure production schedule is aligned to business demands.

11. Some travel may be required.


Basic Qualifications (Education/Experience required):

• Broad-based understanding materials and supply chain..

• Must be knowledgeable of materials planning techniques; MRP, MPS, Kanban, Capacity Planning, Forecasting.

• Strong analytical skills

• Ability to lead and facilitate team meetings.

• Knowledge of best business practices.

• Demonstrated skills in managing a large complex functions.

• Proven knowledge base and demonstrated ability in understanding materials policies and procedures within a manufacturing setting.

• Planning and organization skills to work on multiple projects and meet user demands.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proven success in working in a team environment.

• Ability to effectively partner with all internal function areas and with external customers.

• Five or more years of industry experience

• B.S. degree in Business, Engineering, or related field Preferred
