Holley, a leader in automotive aftermarket products, has an immediate opening for a Quality Manager.

This position will lead and champion a continuous improvement culture of reliability and customer satisfaction for part quality within the facilities. To establish and maintain quality and compliance systems that are consistent with corporate guidelines, objectives, and customer requirements. This position has the principal accountability for the quality of all products produced and qualification of all raw materials, suppliers, and maintenance of any certifications.

Key Job Elements (Essential Functions Performed):

• Manages all MRB locations within Holley Operations (control & disposition management) to ensure we have target time line for product disposition. Manager will ensure all produce placed in MRB has part #, quantity on hold and cost of product are tracked upon going on hold and coming off hold to ensure the rule of 3-day disposition is enforced.
• All product placed in MRB must be dispositioned within 3-days from being placed on hold.
• MRB meetings will be led by QA manager to ensure product has been reviewed and dispositioned to meet 3-day target.
• Develop and Manage Quality Score Cards with Targets (Internal NCM and External NCM)
• Will manage the quality “Corrective Action Process” for all internal and supplier NCM’s to ensure effective countermeasures and controls are in place. All NCM’s will be tracked on a separate CAR (Process or Vendor) and managed by QA manager. He will also old weekly CAR meetings to ensure progress and timely closure for all non-conformance NCM’s.
• Directly responsible in all supplier NCM communication and 8D or A3 corrective actions to ensure resolution is effective to control the negative defect impact.
• Works directly with all Operations Managers to help address any internal NCM to drive effective countermeasures and controls are in place and effective.
• Effectively interact with Purchasing, Engineering, and Operations to maintain product supply and assist with new product launches and cost reductions.
• Develop and maintain quality check sheets, assist Operators as needed to ensure accurate results.
• Responsible to ensure quality provide “layered auditing” check sheets with the operations to ensure process quality is being maintained.
• Analyze and track scrap for both Vendor and Process to help support opportunities for improvement through corrective actions. Operations managers will own all process crap and countermeasure development with the support of QA manager.
• Ensuring tests, standards, and procedures are properly understood, and executed.
• Managing technical staff in carrying out technical checks, inspections, and preparation of required reporting.
• Work as a change agent to implement new or revised quality and production procedures.
• Manage and maintain the company’s quality inspection and product release programs for in-coming and in-process materials, components, processes, and finished goods.
• Ensures all quality records are maintained and ensure all test equipment in the operation have established validation and calibrations to control part quality.
• Communicate with suppliers and customers and ensure the execution of corrective actions and compliance with applicable specifications.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications (Education/Experience required):

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Strong DMAIC or PDCA continuous improvement skills for problem solving and cost savings
• Minimum 5-7 years of demonstrated Manager Leadership experience of work teams in a manufacturing environment
• Automotive or metal machining background preferred
• Strong PILOT/PPAP and PFMEA knowledge
• Exceptional communication skills
• IATF 16949 experience preferred
• Strong Excel Skills
• Willingness to travel when required
